CCA Objectives

  • Enhance understanding and appreciation of Malay culture and dance through active participation in events and performances, fostering cultural awareness, respect, and pride in the tradition.

  • Develop Malay dancers into confident, disciplined, and gracious youths, nurturing self-discipline and instilling a deep sense of pride in their craft.

  • Instill an appreciation for the diverse musical and rhythmic traditions of Malay dance.

  • Provide opportunities for personal growth and character development through Malay dance to cultivate resilience, focus, and perseverance in young dancers.

  • Promote inclusivity and diversity in Malay dance by embracing dancers from various backgrounds and encouraging widespread appreciation of the art form across communities.
