CHANGKAT R.A.C.E. – 2026
Rising.Above.Challenging.Experiences (R.A.C.E.) – serves as both the tagline for this year's Changkat cross-country and our hope for every student participant. To rise above means to be resilient. Life will present us all with challenging experiences, but when we face these moments with care for one another and respect for ourselves, we build the strength to push through. This spirit of resilience, care and respect is what drives Changkat's flagship cross-country event.
We invited Changkateers, alumni, parents and staff to run 3.6 km at the Sports Hub vicinity, along the park connector by Geylang River. Our school community turned out in great numbers for this 60th Anniversary race!

The competition was fierce and spirited, with outstanding performances from runners across all year levels. The Hawk House ultimately claimed victory in the house standings, with Harrier, Eagle and Falcon houses also showing strong performances.
A particularly heartwarming aspect of the event was our collaboration with Sport Singapore, where we had the privilege of hosting a group of seniors from the NTUC Health Active Ageing Centre. Our elected student Community Ambassadors (CAs) demonstrated exceptional care and respect, engaging warmly with the seniors through inclusive games, singing, and joyful interaction. This inter-generational socialising not only enriched the Changkat R.A.C.E. experience but also showcased our school's commitment to caring for and treasuring all members of our community, embodying our values of respect and care.

The event highlighted our school’s commitment to health, sportsmanship, and inter-generational connection. As we continue our anniversary celebrations, we look forward to more opportunities that strengthen bonds and create lasting memories.
